How to remove trigger guard AR-15?

The most frequent way to do this is with an Allen key. Simply insert the key into the hole on the side of the trigger guard and unscrew it. Some triggers have screws on the inside as well that will need to be removed in order to take off the trigger guard completely. Be sure to make note of which screw goes where, as they may need to be put back in place when reassembling the gun.

There is more than one way to remove the trigger guard on an AR-15.

One way is to use a screwdriver or Allen wrench to remove the screws that hold the trigger guard in place.

Another way is to use needle-nose pliers to squeeze the tabs on either side of the trigger guard and then pull it off.

Whichever method you use, be sure not to lose any of the screws or tabs.

A most common way is to use a small Allen wrench.

  1. Make sure your AR-15 is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction.
  2. Locate the small screw on the back of the trigger guard that holds it in place.
  3. Use a small Allen wrench to remove the screw and take off the trigger guard.

There are a few ways to remove the trigger guard on an AR-15.

The first way is to use a punch and drive out the two pins that hold the guard in place. You can also use a small screwdriver to remove the pins. Once the pins are out, you can pull off the trigger guard.

Another way to remove the trigger guard is to use a pair of pliers or a vise grip. Place the jaws of the tool around the inside of the trigger guard and then twist or squeeze until the guard pops off.

You can also try using needle nose pliers to remove the trigger guard. Finally, if you have an AR-15 with a detachable magazine, you can simply push the release button
