There are a few things that you can do to reduce the amount of force required to pull the trigger on a Smith & Wesson M&P:
- Make sure that you are using a firm grip on the gun and are squeezing it tightly. A loose grip will result in more movement when you pull the trigger, requiring more force to fire the gun.
- Check that your trigger finger is in the correct position. The trigger finger should be resting on the side of the gun barrel, not inside the trigger guard. If your finger is inside the trigger guard, it will move forward when you pull the trigger and increase how much force is required.
- Practice pulling the trigger slowly and smoothly. A jerky motion will require more force to fire the gun.
- Clean and lubricate your gun regularly. A build-up of dirt and grime can make it harder to pull the trigger.
- Have a gunsmith check the trigger mechanism if you are still having difficulty. There may be an issue with the gun that is causing it to require more force than normal to fire.
