How to Reassemble a BCG? 🔋
✅ The first step is to gather all the parts you’ll need for reassembly. This includes the charging handle, firing pin, cam pin, bolt carrier key screws and washers, extractor spring and plunger, and finally the bolt itself. Make sure all components are thoroughly cleaned with a light coat of oil before assembly.

🔰 Now take out your new BCG and locate its extractor spring and plunger which should already be pre-installed on one side of the bolt carrier group.

DLC represents a further upgrade in terms of coating quality, while there are many other niche coating options available as well. On the other hand, NiB (Nickel Boron) coating is generally not well-regarded in comparison to other coating options.
I currently own a Sharps bolt carrier with DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) and NiB (Nickel Boron) coating. Although the coating did darken slightly due to my hard use, it is still easy to clean and looks great overall. The DLC coating, known for its durability, is holding up very well.
