How to adjust the trigger on a Winchester Model 70?
There are a few things that you can do to adjust the trigger on your Winchester Model 70 rifle.
First, you will need to remove the stock from the rifle. Next, locate the screw that adjusts the trigger pull weight. This screw is located just above the trigger guard, on the left side of the receiver.
Turning this screw clockwise will increase the trigger pull weight, while turning it counterclockwise will decrease the trigger pull weight.
Once you have adjusted the trigger pull weight to your liking, reassemble the rifle and test it out.
