How to set up a ground blind for hunting? 🎯

Ground blinds are an important tool for hunters. They provide a place of concealment from which can be hunted safely and with greater success than if they were to spot you in the open. Setting up a ground blind is not difficult, but some steps need to be followed to ensure your hunting experience is both successful and enjoyable.

  • 🔶 The first step when setting up a ground blind is to choose an appropriate location. The ideal location should have plenty of natural cover such as trees or rocks, and it should be close enough to the grazing area so that they will not spot you from a distance. Once your location has been determined, it’s time to set up the blind itself.
  • 🔶 When setting up the ground blind, the most important element is to ensure that it blends in with its surroundings so that cannot tell there is an intruder in their environment. This can be done by using camouflage fabric or netting over the sides of the ground blind which will provide ample cover while still allowing light into the interior of the ground blind.
  • 🔶 Once the ground blind is set up, it’s time to prepare for hunting.

😉 By following these steps, hunters will be able to set up their ground blind safely and successfully to increase their chances of a successful hunt.

I don’t have the Rhino see-through blind yet and I’m curious to know what others think of it before I make a purchase.

I love my Rhino see-through blind! I used it extensively during spring turkey season, and a few times for deer hunting this fall to help with the wind. It’s worth the investment as it’s very sturdy and provides incredible visibility. However, since I only use archery equipment, I prefer to keep the windows open to avoid any potential issues with deflection or creating holes.

I purchased this see-through blind for my dad and while we haven’t had the chance to use it in the woods yet, we both like it. The quality of the blind is great, but it does take some practice to set it up and take it down smoothly.

It’s a good idea to leave it out for a few weeks before hunting for it so that the deer can get used to it. I’m planning on doing just that to increase my chances of success.

There’s a 50/50 chance that the deer will avoid the Rhino 200 for a few days after it’s popped up overnight, but if they don’t, they can be a bit spookier than you’d like when hunting with a bow. It’s important to give them time to get used to the blind to avoid startling them and potentially losing your chance to get a good shot.

I’m in my second year of deer hunting and I need to buy a ground blind. This year, I’ll be hunting with my father, who’s a bit older and can’t climb a ladder into a deer stand. I want to make sure we have a good experience together, so I’m looking for a blind that’s big enough for two people and provides great visibility.

Last season, I used the Rhino Blinds Rhino-100 and was blown away by how effective it was. I was hunting on a harvested soybean farm and needed to get closer to the deer than the nearby trees would allow following their routine. So, I decided to set up the blind in the middle of a field. At first, it felt strange just sitting out in the open, but it ended up being a great move as I was able to harvest three deer from a distance closer than 20 yards using my bow.
