Installation 👷‍♀️👷

🧷 First, ensure you have the right Triggertech Trigger for your rifle; this will depend on the type of AR-15 or AR-10 model you are using.

🧷 Begin by removing the safety lever and disconnector from the trigger guard. Then, carefully remove the hammer spring, pivot pin and hammer from the receiver.

🧷 Now, you can install it in place of your original trigger assembly by installing it inside of the trigger guard.

🧷 Attach the Trigger to the receiver by pushing down on it until it clicks into place, then attach it to its respective pins. Finally, reattach all other components (i.e., safety lever and disconnector).

✅ It’s important to pay attention to detail during Installation as failure to do so could lead to improper performance and even potential damage.

To make sure everything is installed correctly, take extra care when attaching each part and make sure you have tightened all screws properly before testing your new Trigger out at a range or in any other situation where firing may occur.

This makes it one of the lightest and most easily adjustable triggers on the market.

TriggerTech offers both single-stage and two-stage designs, with adjustable pre-travel, over-travel, and pull weights ranging from 1.5 lbs to 3 lbs.

What is the factory pull weight setting Adaptable AR15 Trigger?

📍 The Triggertech Adaptable AR15 Trigger usually comes with a factory pull weight setting of 3.5-4.5 lbs, with the option to customize it from 1.5-4.5 lbs depending on your needs and preferences.

It also features Triggertech’s patented Frictionless Release Technology™, which ensures a smooth and consistent trigger pull every time you fire the rifle. This technology uses advanced aerospace materials that create a self-regulating free float to reduce friction and tension on the trigger components, resulting in an enhanced overall feel and accuracy.

What is the lock time?

It has a remarkably short lock time of .04 milliseconds, making it one of the fastest available on the market.

📍 This means that you can have faster follow-up shots and improved accuracy due to less time prepping for the next shot. It is also adjustable to provide an even shorter lock time if desired.

What can happen if I set my trigger too light?

❌ Setting your Trigger too light can cause it to malfunction and possibly even fire without you pulling the trigger.

⭕ This can be a dangerous situation, as it could lead to the accidental discharge of the firearm which can cause significant injury or death.

⭕ Additionally, setting a Trigger too light can also lead to rapid and uncontrolled firing, which may not only cause personal injury but also property damage.

Should I lubricate my TriggerTech AR Trigger?

Lubricating is an important part of proper maintenance and can help ensure smoother performance.

🟩 TriggerTech recommends using a dry lubricant, such as TriggerTech’s proprietary Trigger Lube, to reduce friction and increase the life of your trigger.

🟩 Alternatively, you can use a light oil-based lubricant that won’t attract dirt or debris.

❗ Whatever lubricant you choose, make sure it’s compatible with Trigger components and don’t over-lubricate. Applying too much lubricant can cause excessive build-up and create a sticky surface which makes it difficult for the trigger to move freely.

Conclusion 🤠

Triggertech is a relative newcomer to the AR trigger market, but they have made a big splash with their innovative designs and quality construction. They are highly rated and well-reviewed by consumers and experts alike. We hope that when you would be in the market for a Triggertech  Trigger, the information in this buyer’s guide will help you with the best options available. Thanks for reading! 🤩

I likeTriggerTech triggers and have already collected a few. I haven’t tried the Combat trigger myself, but I’ll definitely consider it.

I personally own the TriggerTech Combat trigger and I must say that it has an excellent audible and crisp reset. It quickly brings you back to the wall for the next pull, making for a seamless shooting experience.

I am a big fan of TriggerTech triggers and currently have three of their setups. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality trigger. One thing I would suggest is to keep an eye out for discounts, as you can sometimes find them for under $150.

In my opinion, the TriggerTech trigger is simply amazing. The reset and pull are both incredibly smooth and precise. I specifically have the 3.5 straight bow variant, and it performs exceptionally well. While I’ve tried G’s triggers in the past, I still prefer the performance of TriggerTech triggers overall.

I have one and trying to install it. Is triggerTech compatible with short-throw safety selectors?

You know, a few brief throw safeties built specifically for Mil-Spec design (housingless) triggers may lack compatibility.

I currently own a TriggerTech trigger, which I installed to replace my Geissele SSA trigger. While the Geissele SSA is already an excellent trigger, I must say that the TriggerTech performs even better. I have kept it on the default 3.5lbs setting and it feels absolutely amazing. The break is incredibly clean, and the reset feels very smooth without any springy sensation. It’s hard to explain, but I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-performance trigger.
