Features 💡

  • 📝 Adjustable Pre-Travel and Over-Travel: A high-quality Glock trigger connector allows you to adjust the pre-travel and over-travel of your trigger pull. • 📝 Smooth Trigger Pull: A good connector should provide a smooth and consistent trigger pull. This can enhance shot placement and accuracy.
  • 📝 Drop-In Installation: It should be easy to install and require no gunsmithing or special tools. Drop-in connectors are available for quick and easy installation.
  • 📝 Improves Trigger Reset: A connector can improve the trigger reset, reducing the time between shots and improving accuracy.
  • 📝 Durability: The best trigger connectors are made from high-quality materials that are durable and long-lasting.

⚙️Connector modification⚙️

Making a Glock connector modification is not complicated. It requires the right tools and knowledge to properly install the trigger connector, as well as proper safety precautions.

  • ✍️ First, begin by removing your stock trigger from the gun. Then remove the magazine catch, slide release lever, and any other parts related to the trigger.
  • ✍️ Clean all components before beginning work on the installation; use an appropriate cleaner for this task.
  • ✍️ Once all components are clean, you will need to fit the trigger connector onto the frame and slide the release lever. Use a punch or other tool to carefully press in the pins.
  • ✍️ It is important to ensure that the fitting is snug and there are no gaps between any of the parts; if any gaps exist, it may cause the trigger to bind during use.
  • ✍️ Once everything is properly fitted, lubricate the parts lightly before reassembling them.
  • ✍️ To finish the installation, reinstall your slide release lever and magazine catch into place before replacing the stock trigger of your Glock. Make sure that all components are properly secured so that they do not come loose during use.

Installation 🧑‍🔧

Installing a Glock trigger connector is an easy job, but it’s important to do it correctly.

🚨 First, you’ll need to make sure that the connector is compatible with your firearm. To do this, check the model number and make of your gun against the manufacturer’s information for the trigger connector. Once you’ve determined that the connector is compatible, it’s time to install it.

  • ➡️ Step One: Begin by removing the slide from your Glock frame. This is done by locking back the slide and depressing the magazine release button while simultaneously pulling down on both sides of the slide stop lever. The slide should come off easily after this.
  • ➡️ Step Two: To begin installing your trigger connector, you’ll need to insert a small punch into the trigger housing pinhole at the rear of your gun’s frame. Push in until it stops; don’t force it any further than that or you may break something. Then use an Allen wrench or other flat-tipped tool to carefully turn out the old trigger housing pin and remove it completely from the frame.
  • ➡️ Step Three: Take your new trigger connector and insert it into the frame, making sure that it’s tight against the back of the grip. Then push in a new housing pin until it reaches its original position. Once the pin is secure, you can test out your trigger pull to make sure everything is working properly.

FAQ 😎

How does Glock trigger connector work?

🛠️ The trigger connector in a Glock is a small part that plays a critical role in the function of the pistol’s trigger.

  • 💥 It connects the trigger bar to the firing pin safety and is responsible for transferring the trigger pull from the trigger to the firing pin.
  • 💥 When the trigger is pulled, the connector moves the trigger bar forward, which in turn releases the firing pin safety and allows the firing pin to move forward and strike the primer of the cartridge.
  • 💥 A properly functioning trigger connector ensures that the trigger pull is smooth and consistent and that the trigger breaks cleanly without any unnecessary resistance or grittiness.
What does a 3.5 trigger connector do?

➡️ A 3.5 trigger connector is an aftermarket part that can be installed in a Glock pistol to improve its trigger pull.

💣 It reduces the trigger pull weight to approximately 3.5 pounds, hence its name. This lighter trigger pull weight can improve accuracy and speed, making it easier to shoot quickly and more accurately. The reduced trigger pull weight can also help reduce the amount of trigger finger fatigue experienced by the shooter during extended shooting sessions.

What is the standard Glock connector?
  • ⭕ The standard Glock connector is a 5.5-pound trigger connector, which is used in most of Glock’s handguns, including the Glock 17, Glock 19, and Glock 26.
  • ⭕ It is a stamped, steel connector that comes pre-installed in the gun from the factory. The standard connector provides a consistent trigger pull weight, but it is not designed for optimal performance in terms of trigger feel or accuracy.

🤠 Many Glock owners choose to upgrade their connectors to improve the trigger pull and overall shooting experience. One popular upgrade is the 3.5-pound connector, which reduces the trigger pull weight by approximately 2 pounds.

Can a Glock discharge without pulling the trigger?

🤔 In rare cases, a Glock firearm can discharge without pulling the trigger, but this is not a design flaw specific to Glocks.

  • 🚩 Rather, this can occur in any firearm, and it is known as an accidental discharge (AD). ADs can occur due to a variety of reasons, such as mechanical malfunction or human error, such as improper handling or maintenance.
  • 🚩 However, to ensure the safest possible operation of any firearm, it’s essential to follow proper safety procedures, such as always keeping the firearm pointed in a safe direction, keeping your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot, and properly maintaining and storing the firearm.
Is a 3.5-pound trigger good?

🧐 The answer to whether a 3.5-pound trigger is good or not depends on personal preference and intended use.

  • 👍 For some shooters, a lighter trigger pull weight can lead to more accuracy and faster shooting times, as less force is required to pull the trigger. The 3.5-pound trigger is a popular choice among competitive shooters who prioritize speed and accuracy.
  • 👍 However, for others, a heavier trigger pull weight may be preferred for safety reasons, as it requires more conscious effort to pull the trigger and reduces the risk of accidental discharges.
What does a Ghost connector do?

😀 A Ghost connector is an aftermarket trigger connector designed for use in Glock pistols. It is named after the company that produces it, Ghost Inc.

  • ✍️ The Ghost connector is designed to provide a smoother trigger pull, reducing the amount of force required to pull the trigger, and shortening the length of pull.
  • ✍️ The Ghost connector achieves performance improvements through its design. The connector has a unique shape that reduces friction, which makes the trigger pull smoother. Additionally, the connector is made from high-quality materials, typically stainless steel or titanium, which are durable and long-lasting.

Conclusion 😊

Overall, finding the best Glock trigger connector for you requires some research. You should consider your needs and budget to identify which features are most important for your application. We hope this article has helped provide an overview of available options on the market today so that you can make a more informed decision when purchasing your next connector. Whether you choose one from our list or decide to go with another option, we wish you luck in selecting the perfect trigger connector for all of your shooting needs! 🥰❤️‍🔥

As a firearms enthusiast, I want to research and considered the pros and cons of upgrading the trigger connector on my Glock. What are you think about it?

When it comes to upgrading my Glock’s trigger connector, I prefer to keep it simple and reliable. My go-to method is to polish the internals and install a Glock OEM minus connector. This way, I can maintain the factory reliability and feel of my Glock, while still achieving a slightly smoother trigger pull. Overall, it’s important to weigh the pros and cons of any trigger connector upgrade and choose the option that best fits your needs and preferences.

As for me, the pros: I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the feel of my trigger pull after polishing a few internal components and adding a connector. The pull is much smoother and it’s about 1 pound lighter than before. Installing it is a breeze. About cons: Glock is known for its reliability, and there’s always a chance that modifying the trigger connector could affect the pistol’s reliability. However, after putting 20,000 rounds through my guns with Ghost Ultimate 3.5 Pound Trigger Connector, I’ve had no issues.

I’m interested in getting a trigger connector to improve the trigger pull of my G17, but I’m a bit hesitant after reading some negative reviews. I’ve come across some comments that suggest certain connectors can cause issues like double firing or the trigger not resetting properly. Has anyone else experienced these problems, and can anyone recommend a reliable brand or type of connector?

In my personal experience, trigger connectors don’t have a significant effect on reducing the pull weight. Instead, they make the trigger pull smoother and crisper. If you want to decrease the pull weight, you should look into changing the trigger spring, safety plunger spring, and striker spring. However, I only recommend doing this for range guns or competition guns.

As someone who’s tried out a variety of trigger connectors, I have to say that I’m a big fan of the Ghost Ranger 4.5 Pound Trigger Connector. They have a great design, and I especially like the ones that you can file down to reduce overtravel. If you’re in the market for a new connector, I highly recommend these connectors for a try.

I want to make sure that whatever connector I choose is safe to use since I do plan on carrying it occasionally in a Kydex holster. I’m considering a 3.5-pound connector, but I’m wondering if it’s worth it to replace it with a 4.5-pound connector instead. Can anyone give me some advice?

As someone who has experience with trigger connectors, I can say that it is generally safe to use any pull weight you prefer. However, it is important to always practice proper firearm safety and keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire.

After installing the Lantac SSR-3.5 Super Short Reset Connector in my Glock, I was pleased to see that my grouping on the target improved. Using a digital averaging gauge, I measured that the trigger pull was reduced by about 1 pound, going from 5.5 to 4.5 lbs. I carry my gun in an IWB Kydex holster regularly, and when I go shooting, I use an OWB Kydex holster. I feel the gun is just as safe with the new connector as it was with the standard one.

When I installed a Lone Wolf Arms Glock Classic Trigger Connector in my G27, I ended up removing it. I found that the pull weight was too light for me, especially with a subcompact firearm that packs a punch. However, I didn’t have any issues carrying it daily and I figured out that it wasn’t the right fit for me.

I’m looking to purchase a 3.5 trigger connector for my Glock 19 Gen 2, but I’m not sure which one to choose from the most common options: Ghost Rocket, Ghost Ultimate, Glock OEM 3.5, and the Lone Wolf Connector. Can anyone shed some light on the differences or offer any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

I am getting the regular Ghost Ultimate 3.5 Pound Trigger Connector (drop-in) for my G19 and I like it. Additionally, I did the .25 polish job on the internals myself, which was easy to do and yielded great results.

I have personally used both the Ghost Ultimate 3.5 Pound Trigger Connector and the Lone Wolf Arms Glock Classic Trigger Connector and found both to perform well. The Ghost connector had a better polish out of the box, but other than that, there weren’t any significant differences between the two.
