Cleaning 🚰

🧷 To start, it’s important to note that the pistol should be unloaded and the magazine removed before any cleaning begins.

🧷 Supplies: Isopropyl alcohol, toothbrush, Q-tips, soft cloth and gun oil.

🧷 Begin by taking off the grip module from your Sig P320 and submerging it in warm soapy water for about 10 minutes. This will help loosen any dirt or debris on the surface of the grip module.

🧷 After 10 minutes, take out the grip module and use a toothbrush with soapy water to scrub away any remaining debris or residue.

🧷 Rinse off with clean water and let dry for several hours.

🧷 When drying is complete, use a small amount of Isopropyl alcohol on a Q-tip to gently clean all surfaces of the grip module. The alcohol helps to break down any oils or hard-to-remove dirt or grime without causing any damage.

🧷 Once this is done, take another soft cloth and apply some gun oil over all parts of the grip module before reassembling with your handgun.

How to change the grip module on a Sig P320? ⚒

📌 Remove the slide assembly from the frame of your pistol.

  • To do this, use a designated take-down lever on the left side of your P320 and slide it forward until it stops.
  • The slide should now be off of the gun’s frame.

📌 Next, you will need to remove the firing pin safety and its spring by pressing down on it while pushing out the retaining pin with a punch tool or similar object.

  • This step is necessary in order to access the grip module locking block pins, which are located beneath the firing pin safety.
  • With those pins removed, you can now separate the grip module from its locking block and extract it from your P320’s frame.

📌 At this point, all that remains is for you to insert your new grip module into place and reassemble your pistol in reverse order.

  • Start by aligning the locking block with its corresponding slots within the frame before inserting any pins back into place.
  • Then add in your firing pin safety along with its spring before sliding back on your slide assembly and returning all levers to their original positions.

What are grip modules made from?

🟨 Grip modules are typically made of an impact-resistant polymer material such as nylon or polycarbonate, which offers excellent durability and strength. The material is designed to resist wear and tear over time, making it ideal for extended use, as well as providing a comfortable grip surface.

This allows for a better grip even when shooting in wet or slippery conditions.

I am the proud owner of a Polymer80 grip module, and I absolutely adore it. When I purchased my P320 M18 (with manual safety), I initially went for a Gray Guns stippled replacement grip, which worked great and looked fantastic while also accommodating the manual safety. However, I couldn’t help but admire the look and feel of the Polymer80 grip module. So, I decided to take a chance and Dremel the P80 to fit the manual safety, and I’m so glad I did! As someone who understands the importance of a good grip, I really appreciate the rough texturing on the P80 grip module.

I recently purchased a P320 AXG grip module along with the new P320 Custom Works FCU and an x-series 3.9″ coyote slide that’s optic ready for co-witnessing. The Custom Works FCU is impressive and looks great against the black AXG grip module. I’m considering buying the new AXG grip set that resembles the Scorpion grips. I think the contrast with the black grip module would look fantastic. Currently, I’ve invested $1200 in the gun. I could’ve gone with the AXG Scorpion, but I believe the combination I’ve put together looks better.

Okay, thank you to all the people who wrote about their grips. I went to the market and there are different sizes. What size grip for P320?

Zack Buck

The size of the grip for the P320 depends on your hand size and shooting preference.
🎯 The P320 comes with three different sizes of grip modules: small, medium, and large. You can choose the one that best fits your hand size and provides the most comfortable and secure grip for you. It’s recommended to try out different sizes and styles of grip modules to determine which one works best for you.

Personally, I have a Compact small grip for my P320, and it fits my 4″ wide palm perfectly. It provides a comfortable and secure grip that allows me to shoot confidently.

I have rather average sized hands, and I found that the small grip for my P320 is way too small, while the large grip is too big. The medium size, however, is just perfect for me. I noticed that the small grip is quite square and blocky, making it very uncomfortable for my hand size. So, I would highly recommend going to a professional shop or somewhere similar and trying out all the grip sizes to see what works best for you. It’s important to find the right size and shape that will provide a comfortable and secure grip for optimal shooting performance.

In my experience, the most significant difference between the three grip sizes for the P320 is the distance from the back of the grip to the trigger. The width of the grip doesn’t change significantly between sizes.

Personally, I find the small grip size more comfortable, but it doesn’t allow for as clean of a draw, and it doesn’t point as well. On the other hand, the medium size grip points much better for me, allowing for a smoother and more accurate shot placement.

Alright guys, I decided to buy sig sauer. What is the difference between Sig P320 carry and compact grip module?

Zack Buck
Editor
Reply to  NuntWolf

The difference between the Sig P320 Carry and Compact grip modules lies mainly in their size and the capacity of the magazine they can accommodate.

📌 The P320 Carry grip module is larger than the Compact and is designed to accommodate a full-size 17-round magazine. This makes the Carry grip module ideal for those who prefer a full-size handgun for better accuracy and control. The Carry grip module is also a bit heavier than the Compact due to its larger size.

📌 In contrast, the P320 Compact grip module is smaller and lighter than the Carry, and it can accommodate a 15-round magazine. This makes the Compact grip module a more versatile option for those who want a balance between size, capacity, and portability. The Compact grip module is also easier to conceal and carry, making it a popular choice for self-defense purposes.

Upon researching, I noticed that the Sig P320 Carry grip module is slightly taller than the Compact and can accommodate a larger magazine. I recently placed an order for an ODG Carry grip module, and I’m currently trying to figure out whether I need to purchase new magazines or trade in for a Compact grip module.

They differ in their grip modules and magazine compatibility. The grip module on the Carry is slightly larger, but it cannot accommodate a 15-round magazine as one might expect. Instead, it can only use 17-round or 21-round magazines.
In contrast, the Compact can use magazines with capacities of 15, 17, or 21 rounds, making it a more versatile option in terms of magazine compatibility. The two models are nearly identical except for the grip module and magazine compatibility, which should be taken into consideration when selecting a model that best suits your needs.
